Our background is an amazing mixture, with farming at the very heart.

SHU Start

Producing our own meat, fruit, vegatables and dairy products is an exciting enterprise in it's infancy at the moment.

Our passion is to be able to offer locally, high quality, nutritionally beneficial food, priced so that everyone can afford to eat well and provide healthy family meals.

As our farm starts to establish and grow we look forward to being able to provide training and work opportunities, leading to nationally recognised qualification and highly skilled, experienced staff. We seek to open doors and provide opportunities, not only to earn a living, but to grow and develop skills and knowledge.

Longterm our farm will also aim to provide all the food required for our SHU Food outlet.

We will shortly be holding a fun 'Stake Out' evening ~ your chance to try rare breed steak and decide which is the best. Please see our Fundraising page or SHU Events page (coming soon) for more details, or contact Bruce and Claire. The cost of a ticket will be fencing posts to secure further the fields for our cattle.
